Website: http://www.teachingheart.net/fairyideas.htm

Rationale: The suggested site provides teachers with new ideas when promoting a fairytale. Proposals such as ‘making fairy tale headbands’ is a great suggestion when experiencing the pressure as a teacher. I strongly advise teachers who have just graduated to utilize this site within their classroom.

Website: http://cookps.act.edu.au/l_fairy.htm

Rationale: An engaging site dedicated to the rhymes of Mother Goose. The contents include a history of the Mother Goose tradition; tips for celebrating Mother Goose Day, rhymes and their corresponding recipes. These fairytales connect with the students when the teacher reads with expression. Teachers may print these stories out, forcing students to individually read and improve their reading skills and understanding.

Rationale: This book is a great resource for teachers studying technology or teaching technology in the near future. Fleer and Jane explain in great detail on the different approaches to teaching technology education and how to utilize it within the classroom. Fleer and Jane also suggest planning technology for learning with all discourses considered. I strongly suggest student-teachers or teachers to purchase this book for assistance and guidance as a technology teacher.
